Shrek the Musical Jr!
Shrek the Musical Jr. was performed at Mount Lawley Senior High School's Tricycle Theatre last week. We were lucky to have some of the high school students coordinating the lighting, sound and front of house for us, making it feel very professional. Our students performed a total of four shows, which gave them the valuable experience of performing in front of different audiences. It was wonderful to see their confidence grow, characters develop and comic timing improve over the course of the show. As Mr Ivey pointed out on closing night, the actual performance is just the tip of the iceberg and it represents months of hard work and dedication from all of the students involved. It was a fantastic show and everyone should be very proud!
Pizza with the Principal
On the last day of Term 2, Sofiya was the lucky winner of the Pizza with the Principal competition. Students were eligible to enter the competition if they had a Green Slip (for going 'above and beyond'). Sofiya's class mates were also invited to eat lunch with them.
Also, on the last day of Term 2, the students at HPS participated in Pyjama Day.
