Pre Primary 'Our Ideal Community Project'

In Pre-Primary we have just finished building our ideal community. We discussed the needs and wants of a community, then drew maps of what our ideal community would look like. Finally we built our community using boxes and household waste. Throughout the project we discussed 3D shapes and the production of food 'from farm to plate'. We made butter from cream, and popcorn to demonstrate how our food can be changed. Our community has a farm with animals and vegetables, a factory to make and package the food, and a supermarket, which demonstrates our learning.
