Sometimes it's hard to know where to turn. Highgate has many things on the go at all times.

The school office is a great place to start - just be aware that if you hope to get answers just as the school starts each day - it can be a busy place.

For social news and to find out what's happening in the school community - the P&C is very useful.

The Canteen usually has volunteers and helpers who know what's happening.

The P&C has a fantastic Facebook group for keeping up to date with events in the school community.

WA STUDENT ASSISTANCE PAYMENT

The WA Student Assistance Payment helps parents and carers with cost-of-living pressures associated with sending their children to school.

All Western Australian school students in Kindergarten to Year 12, with a valid WA student number, are eligible for this cost-of-living payment.

You can claim $250 for each secondary student and $150 for students attending primary school or kindergarten.

The payment will be available through the ServiceWA app, with parents and carers encouraged to set up or update their ServiceWA account and have an active digital identity.

Claims open on Monday 15 April 2024.

All claims must be received by Friday 28 June 2024.
